This movement has taken for its inspiration the funeral march from Gustav Mahler's Titan Symphony.

This piece was written for Northridge High School, North Layton Junior High, and Sunset Junior High string orchestras for their Halloween Concert. It is a depiction of a man's journey through a -haunted house. It is written for Double Orchestra, meaning that there are two separate sets of parts for two different orchestras. Tim Rohwer (Me) conducting. This was such a cool experience for me! Great group of students. To protect the students, the orchestra has been blurred out.
