Tim Rohwer graduated cum laude from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor in Musical Arts.  He started Viola in 1997 and started composing in 1998 at the age of 13.
His main focus through college was music education, and he started teaching private lessons in 2009.  He has been teaching at the Utah Conservatory in Park City since 2015.  He teaches Violin, Viola, beginning Cello, and he is the director of the Utah Conservatory's Flash Mob Orchestra.

As the Da CAPO Youth Program director, Timothy Rohwer regularly arranges pieces for his orchestra to perform in a variety of settings.  Many of these arrangements are now available for purchase on Sheet Music Plus.

Timothy still spends time composing, writing for everything from Piano Sonatas and String Quartets to Full Orchestral pieces.
